EVENTĀ INFORMATION

  • RAIN OR SHINE : ā˜”ļøCheck the weather network on the day to be prepared.
  • VOLUNTEER HOURS: Students seeking volunteer hours for community service should bring their schoolā€™s Community Hours sheets to be signed on the day of the event.
  • THINGS TO BRING:
    • Water bottle
    • Wear a hat to avoid heatstroke
    • Lawn Chair (so you'll have something to sit on at your station or while you're taking a break)
    • Money for Food or a Lunch
    • Wear something comfy, you'll be doing lots of walking

Time Commitment OPTIONS

  • Morning: 08:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Afternoon: 12:00 pm to 05:00 pm
  • All Day: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

JOB CONDITIONS

- Outdoors during the event, assisting and supporting various festival activities.

- Tasks may include walking, carrying up to 30 lbs, approaching attendees to offer assistance, and checking in at designated areas.

REQUIREMENTS

- Open to teens and adults.

- Must have a cell phone for communication with Volunteer Coordinators.

- Responsible, able to work collaboratively, and possess a mature, friendly, and calm demeanor and NOT afraid of any type of animal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Report to the First Aid Booth to receive instructions. (First Shipping Container)

- Assist in setting up numbered cone site markers, flags, and booths, and transporting necessary materials such as water coolers, etc.

- Be on-site to help set up for the festival, including directing participants to locations and aiding in material transport.

- Communicate any needs or issues via text or call to Volunteer Coordinators.

- Assist vendors during the event as neededā€”providing water, offering quick breaks, etc.

- Assist in tearing down the event, including tent take-down, ensuring all spaces are packed and picked up, and ensuring proper disposal of garbage.

SPECIAL Volunteer Positions

  • Social Content Crew: Wander around capturing candid moments and filming fun snippets with vendors and guests for our social media pages.,
  • First Aid Heroes: Are you certified in First Aid and CPR? We're on the lookout for a couple of volunteers to oversee our first aid station and be available to assist in case of a medical emergency while roaming the event.,
  • Vendor Helpers: Assist vendors with loading and unloading, and show them where they need to set up shop.,
  • Pet Parade Paparazzi: Snap shots of our adorable pets strutting their stuff on the red carpetā€”it's like the pet version of the Oscars! Bring your own camera gear.,
  • Yoga Chicken Whisperer: Keep our feathered friends happy, hydrated, and safely corralled during our yoga sessions. Familiarity with chicken handling is a plus.ā€
  • Floater Extraordinaire: Are you up for anything? Join our team as a Floater Extraordinaire! Your versatility is key as you'll be lending a hand wherever needed.
